I took a visiting post-doc to La Oaxaquena taco truck for un taco de asada, uno de chorizo, and a mexican coke... heaven. I wish I could send you some... do you have a comal?
The plate would be wonderful! Thanks for the encouragement. I was thinking I couldn't do it because it's difficult to find the right type of meat but I'll improvise. Luckily, the base grocery store sells tortillas. Thanks for offering to send me some though. Did you hear Andy is going to have a Taquero at his grad party?? I am so bummed not to be able to be there.
Doug-o! I have a comal...Abe might not have had any furniture when I got here but he did have one of those. And how dare you show off about chorizo tacos? My mouth just watered as I typed that last sentence. I can't wait to see you next week! The short brown one and the tall white dude in Venzia! It's going to be awesome.
