I talked to my dad today (his 48th b-day) and he told me that my grandma said, "Como dijo el indio: Como se come la tuna, se caga la semilla", when he told her that I got married.
Rough translation: "Like father, like daughter", but in much more colorful terms.
I love this woman.
I can't wait until September...Viva Guanajuato!

I have found an awesome running route! Except for the occasional tractor and friendly/unfriendly Italian bicyclist, I am all by myself.

This weekend I am missing my dad's 48th birthday, my sister's 12th birthday, and mother's day. Merda! I sent my mom some gorgeous organic flowers from Chico, Ca in hopes she will forget she's mad at me or at least lessen the wrath when she refuses to talk to me on skype.
